Musical Background

Between the ages of 6 and 12, Holger attended a creative small school. His first instrument was the drums at age 7, at 12 the piano, then finally, the computer sequencer as his main tool in the early 90s. Holger is a member of The Danish Songwriter's Guild, KODA, NCB, Gramex, and The Danish Sound Technology Network.

Inspiration

From an early age, Holger was inspired by classical composers Bach, Mozart, and Tchaikovsky and by rock groups like Pink Floyd and The Beatles. Later, he drew inspiration from Kraftwerk, Vince Clarke, Jean-Michel Jarre, Pet Shop Boys, Beastie Boys, and Commodore 64 computer music artists, such as Rob Hubbard, Jeroen Tel, and Martin Galway. Other influential sources were producers Denniz PoP, Max Martin, Fatboy Slim, Dr. Dre, and the 90s Eurodance scene.

Personal

Holger was born in 1974 in the countryside and now lives in the enclave of Frederiksberg, Copenhagen. He is married to Sunniva, and together they have two sons, Viggo and Georg. When Holger is not working in the studio he trains in Krav Maga, an Israeli full-contact fighting system. He collects European comics and graphic novels, likes to travel, and enjoys gourmet food. On Sundays, he loves to play Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 with his friends.
